It may only be July, but Carrie Underwood already has big plans for football season. Her "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" will once again open NBC's Sunday Night Football and she's been tapped to open Super Bowl 49 in 2015.

Carrie says the Sunday Night Football song is the same, but she "got to go back into the studio to make a few tweaks." She taped her performance in Los Angeles in late June. Carrie adds, "I love football. I'm honored they asked me to kick it off. Hopefully when people hear the song, they'll just feel ready for the big game!"

As for the Super Bowl opener, which will feature some high-end digital graphics, Carrie says, "I feel the glamour a bit more in that one. It's a game like no other so they wanted to make it have an opening like no other."
