Happy Global Forgiveness Day!

Posted August 27th, 2013 @ 7:32am by Rip

It's said that it takes a strong person to say sorry and an even stronger person to forgive. But today is the perfect day to do both. I's Global Forgiveness Day -- a day to forgive and to be forgiven.

Life is too short to hold grudges. It's much better simply to forgive and forget, and move on with your life. If you can. Some people can't find it in their hearts ever to forgive, but others can find a way to forgive someone for doing something that most people would consider unforgivable.

  • Are you typically a very forgiving person? Can you always find it in your heart to forgive others for things they've done to you?
  • What's the worst thing someone's ever done to you? Did you forgive them?
  • Do you generally hold grudges? Are there things that people have done to you that you could never forgive them for?
  • Is there something you've done to someone else that you wish they'd forgive you for? Have you asked for their forgiveness?

Today might be a great day to "let it go" and "let 'em know" that you want to put it in the past...
