Zac Brown and his wife Shelly have separated.
They issued a statement about the break-up to People. “We have led a whirlwind life together growing into a beautiful family with five amazing children, and while life will be rearranging a bit, our love and commitment to our family will always be there."
The Browns have been married for 12 years and have five children, four-year-old son Alexander, and four daughters: seven-year-old Joni, eight-year-old Georgia, 10-year-old Lucy and 11-year-old Justice.
Scott's Thoughts:
- Considering how tough it is to be married and be a country music star, there really aren't many divorces among them.
- It had to be a tough decision -- especially with five kids involved.
