There’s no doubt Keith Urban was pretty emotional when he accepted his Entertainer of the Year trophy at the CMA Awards, and backstage he called the feeling of winning “indescribable.”
Keith says the win was overwhelming, simply, “because I love playing, I love entertaining, I love putting on shows.”
He was also thinking of his dad when winning the award, “because he’s such a huge influence in my life – my mom and dad both are.” He added, “I wish he could’ve seen this tonight, you know, he set me on the path that I’m on, but I feel his presence, so I’m very, very grateful for that.”
