Working from home means working more

This won’t surprise anyone working from home … A new study found that working from home means working more. A report from the National Bureau of Economic Research found that, compared with pre-COVID times, workers are experiencing “significant and durable increases in the length of the average workday.” According to the findings, the average workday for remote workers increased by 48.5 minutes. But it’s likely even more than that, especially when you consider that the report also cited an increase in the number of emails sent outside of regular work hours.
