ROBOT RUNS A 5K
Students at Oregon State University made history by engineering and building a robot that was able to run a 5-kilometer race.
The robot -- named Cassie -- is the first two-legged robot to use machine learning to run outside on a single battery charge.
Cassie taught itself to run with a learning algorithm, figuring out how to balance and stay upright while moving. More here: (The Sacramento Bee)
