Gator Raid
This is why you should look in your swimming pool before diving in.
A family in Florida heard noises in their backyard one night earlier this week and went outside to investigate. They turned on the lights and found an enormous alligator taking a nighttime dip in the pool. The 11-foot, 550-pound monster had actually tore through the screened enclosure and dove in. The family said it was just laying at the bottom of the pool enjoying the cool water. Police called in an alligator trapper and assisted him in pulling the gator out of the pool and then hauling him away. Experts warn that it's currently mating season in Florida, so residents should be extra careful. (NY Post)
