Big Mac goes fowl … McDonalds is looking to expand the Big Mac line in the U.S., 55 years after the two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun was first rolled out. The company is testing the Chicken Big Mac at select locations in Miami at the end of this month. The Chicken Big Mac just trades out the all-beef patties for tempura-battered chicken patties. It was launched earlier this year in the U.K., and locations sold out of them after just 10 days.
Scott's Thoughts:
- They have had ideas that I have liked in the past like the Big Mac Wrap, The Mini Mac and even the Giant Mac. I don't know about this Chicken thing.
- Remember when they did the breakfast all day thing? I was not so much a fan of that. To impress me, let me buy a big mac at 7am. Big mac any time. That's what I want!
