Butt-Shot Bozo Busted

A San Antonio man is in jail after he fired some gun shots in the air and accidentally filled his butt full of lead.

Police say they responded to a report of shots fired just after midnight Saturday night and they found a 31-year-old man in pain from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the buttocks. Officers then discovered that he also happened to have multiple outstanding warrants. So adding insult to injury, they placed him under arrest and took him to the hospital for treatment. (KSAT-TV)

How do you fire a gun in the air and shoot yourself in the butt? Was he doing a handstand at the time?
The man is currently in stable condition, but he doesn't sound very stable to me.
At least he only shot himself and no one else.
