WEIRD NEWS: Inking and Not Thinking
A New York mother is under arrest for allowing her son to get a large tattoo on his arm -- he's 10-years-old.
Police say a school nurse saw the boy's name tattooed in large block letters on his forearm and was so shocked that she immediately called police. Investigators discovered that the boy's mother, Crystal Thomas, allowed a neighbor in their apartment building to tattoo him. The tattoo artist told police he had the woman's permission to ink her son. Thomas was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Police say the tattoo artist may also be charged.
