You deserve a micro-break today ... Taking a lunch hour is good for your mental health, but you might be even better off taking super-short "micro-breaks" throughout the day. According to a new study, employees show improved performance and better health if they take a few five to 10-minute breaks. It doesn't really matter what the worker does on that break -- taking a quick walk and watching a fun video both showed good results.
