Signs That Someone Has Been Roofied

The number of women being drugged and then assaulted is on the rise and there are things you need to know. While roofie, ketamine, and GHB are commonly used drugs to drop into drinks, 50-percent of cases of date rapes happen after someone drinks a lot. You may also be given a medication that you typically take to get you incapacitated.

According to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, or RAINN, 13 percent of all college students experience rape or sexual assault through “physical force, violence, or incapacitation.”

“Huffington Post” asked the experts what the signs of being drugged are and what to do if you or someone gets roofied.

  • You feel disoriented and fatigued
  • You become unconscious or blackout

  • If drinking, never have the drink out of your hand/sight at any time.
  • Can't imagine what kind of low life scum would do that to a woman.
