Father In Florida Popped For Street Racing With Children In The Car: A man in Florida has been arrested after being caught racing on a bridge …and it just gets worse from there. A Highway Patrol trooper spotted two vehicles racing recently “in clear competition with each other” and “at an extremely high rate of speed.” After pulling one of the cars over, he found driver Demarkus Glover, 24, had an 11-month-old and a 3-year-old in the back seat. The toddler wasn’t in a child seat, according to the report. What’s more, the trooper observed the scent of “fresh marijuana” coming from the car, as well as an empty firearm case “in plain sight” on the floorboard. (The firearm was eventually recovered under the passenger seat). Glover was arrested and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on charges of child neglect, racing on the highway, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

GrubHub Driver Sacked After Allegedly Stealing Kitten Off Customer's Porch: A Grubhub delivery person in San Antonio, Texas has been fired after allegedly helping themselves to a kitten off a customer’s porch, according to police. The victim, Amanda Scoggins, says she learned of the catnapping from a neighbor who told her the delivery driver took a white kitten named Smudge off her porch after dropping off the Panera order. While Smudge’s mom is feral, Scoggins says the kitten has a collar showing it belongs to someone. She added, "We're out there constantly checking on them ...we've spent hundreds of dollars on supplies getting ready for him," she noted. A Grubhub spokesperson says they have suspended the delivery driver while the incident is being investigated.
