Carjacker Crashes Into Police Station While Trying To Flee Cops: A carjacking suspect in Massachusetts was popped Monday after losing control of his vehicle while fleeing from the police… and then crashing into a Police Department. Barton Tibando, 53, was fleeing from police Monday afternoon in a van that had been involved in an armed carjacking, according to police. The driver of the van was driving erratically when he hit a vehicle. And after that, the vehicle then hit and uprooted four granite barriers in front of the Manchester Police Department. Though no injuries were reported from the crash, Tibando was arrested on eight charges, including receiving stolen property, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, conduct after an accident, driving after revocation/suspension, possession of a controlled drug, criminal mischief, disobeying an officer resisting arrest and armed robbery.
