WEDDING PARTY PUT UP “PRIVATE EVENT” SIGNS SHOCKED TO FIND YOU CAN’T DO SO

Did you know that you can’t hold a private event at a national park? One couple found that out when they decided to hold their wedding at Artist Point inside Yellowstone National Park, putting up a sign that read “Private Function” at the bottom of the stairs leading to the point and its overlook.

You can hold a wedding at Yellowstone, as long as you get a “special use” permit. While getting one, they outline what you can and can’t do, and “close a popular tourist area to everyone else” is definitely on the “can’t do” list.
