If you're running late to catch a flight and you arrive at the gate to find the door closed and the plane pulling away, that's when you're supposed to realize that you're not getting on the flight. A woman in Australia didn't understand that.
Officials with Qantas Airways say the woman was still determined to catch her flight at Canberra Airport, so she ran past security and entered the tarmac. Onlookers watched in disbelief as the woman ran up to the taxiing plane and tried to get the pilot's attention to stop and let her on.
The pilot stopped, but he wasn't going to let her on the plane. He waited for airport security to come and take the woman into custody. (NY Post)
