‘Tis the season for snuggling up on the couch with a festive flick. There are thousands to choose from and while we all have our favorites, new research looks into the holiday movies we’ve watched the most so far this year.
- Samba TV, which analyzes the viewing habits of households through smart TVs, has come up with a list of the most-watched movies on TV and streaming services in the U.S.
- Their report covers what was watched from November 10th to December 10th, and a view counts if the household watched it for at least five minutes.
- The list is filled with classic movies from Christmases past, and a few new ones from this year.
- One film on the list may stir up some controversy. “Die Hard” comes in at number 13, even though it’s often debated whether it’s a Christmas movie or not. According to Ashwin Navin, Samba TV’s CEO, “There’s no debate: ‘Die Hard’ is in fact a Christmas movie, and one of the greatest of all time at that.”

Scott's Thoughts:
- Just because “Die Hard” is on this list doesn’t mean it’s a Christmas movie! (Side note. it is!)
- Watched the new one with Eddie Murphy and a couple others so far..
- Still have to watch The Polar Express which is my favorite.
