A Louisiana man accused of dealing drugs from his small apartment was arrested after cops found him hiding out in the dryer.
Police say they suspected 26-year-old Darren Pittman was selling crack out of his apartment, so they secured a search warrant and dropped by to pay a visit. Officers were met at the door by a woman who yelled, loud enough for everyone inside the apartment to hear, that Pittman was not home. But officers believed they saw someone in the kitchen and went in. The woman was later arrested for obstruction. They were then met by an 18-year-old man who argued with them about the legality of the warrant and physically tried to prevent them from searching the place. He was arrested on the spot for obstruction and resisting police.
With very few places to hide inside the small apartment, Pittman eventually found hiding out inside the dryer. He was arrested and charged with felony and misdemeanor drug offenses. (The Smoking Gun)
