Bubble bursting on soda!

Bubble bursting... Everyone is concerned about drinking water and staying hydrated, but sometimes water can be a little boring so we opt for things like sparkling water or flavored seltzers instead. Those are also good drinks to keep you hydrated, but one dentist is sounding an alarm on drinking too many bubbly drinks because it can actually hurt your teeth

Dr. Cerisa Moncayo says that it's all about the bubbles, specifically the carbon dioxide in sparking water. She explains that a chemical reaction occurs in your mouth when you drink bubbly drinks that turns carbon dioxide into carbonic acid, and that acid eats away at your tooth enamel, which could lead to tooth decay. She says you don't have to totally give up sparkling water, but suggests swishing some flat water around your mouth after drinking a bubbly beverage.

Coca-Cola is getting spicy … They’re rolling out their first new permanent flavor in more than three years – a “spiced” version of original Coke. According to the company, Coca-Cola Spiced “blends the iconic taste of Coca-Cola with a burst of refreshing notes from raspberry and spiced flavors.” They’re calling it their “boldest-tasting brand innovation yet.” Coca-Cola Spiced will be available in regular and zero sugar varieties, beginning February 19th.
