Plane Expert Warns About Wearing Leggings On Airplanes

Aviation expert Christine Negroni has a leggings warning for any woman considering wearing them during air travel. While ultra-comfy, Negroni says the leggings could end up being bad for the health of whomever is wearing them in the event of an emergency. Most leggings are made with “artificial fibers” and that material is more easily burned, which could end up being a problem if a fire breaks out in the plane that you’re flying in. Negroni says going with natural fibers like cotton is a smarter, and more breathable, option. Of course, if you’re flying on a plane, and a fire does break out, it’s a safe bet that the last thing on your mind would be what kind of pants you’re wearing.
