Huge Rodent on the Loose in Colorado

Wildlife officials in Colorado are trying to catch a rare, exotic rodent which has been on the loose for days.

The enormous animal is a Patagonian mara, which is native to Argentina. It was first seen around Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood last week and has been spotted several times since. The Patagonian Mara has long ears like a rabbit and legs like a deer. It can grow to more than two-feet tall. It is believed the animal may have been someone's exotic pet that got away. Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for the animal but urged not to approach it or feed it. (NY Post)
