Two Men Charged With “Roast Beef Theft” From Arby's

A roast beef heist has been averted. In Williamsport, Pennsylvania, “a scheme to steal thousands of dollars in roast beef” from an Arby’s location has been foiled. Two women, 21-year-old Shaniyah Alyia West and 63-year-old Stephanie Davis, are now on the receiving end of felony charges after allegedly stealing “more than $3K worth of food and drinks from the store.” Last year, Linda Rae, the store’s owner, “discovered a discrepancy in the roast beef log sheets over the previous few months.” Eventually, she discovered that the two employees were allegedly “slicing the beef and hiding it in a non-working oven before putting it in the trash.” But, before that “trash” became real trash, the roast beef was removed from the bag. In all, it’s alleged that the two women stole $2,800 in roast beef, as well as “143 drinks, 16 food items, and 49 ‘other things’.”
