A salon owner in Massachusetts has received a heartfelt apology from the United States Secret Service. While on protection duty during a Kamala Harris fundraising event, individuals said to be part of the Secret Service detail decided to break into a salon owned by Alicia Powers so they could use the bathroom. One agent also covered the security camera outside of the store “with tape,” and agents also reportedly helped themselves to some mints while inside. Powers later received a call from the Boston branch of the Secret Service apologizing for the inappropriate behavior. Power says she’s the type of person who’d have been happy to open her place, and even provide drinks and food had they only asked her.
