Thanks to a little old holiday called Christmas, those with December birthdays know they get the short end of the stick when it comes to presents, especially for those whose birthdays are closer to the holiday. A study shows just how much they are shafted. The average person not born in the month of December says they receive an average of six gifts on their birthday. But those born in December say they get an average of four. That means the average December-born person will miss out on an average of 160 birthday gifts in their lifetime. Bah humbug!

The rare goat … When it comes to the zodiac, some signs are more common than others, and, surprisingly, the rarest of the signs is Capricorn. According to The New York Times, the three least common birthdays are Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Those all happen to fall under the Capricorn sign. So, if you have a Christmas or near Christmas birthday, you are quite unique. Even though you probably get cheated out of gifts, you should consider yourself pretty special!
