70-year-old woman killed in Montgomery County car crash

March 16, 2018 - A 70-year-old Dublin woman has died after a car crash in the 3600 block of Peppers Ferry Road according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. 

Upon arriving, investigators said they located two vehicles which had collided, pinning both drivers in their cars.

Deputies said their preliminary investigation found that a 2000 Audi, driven by Matthew Utermark of Roanoke crossed the center line, striking a 2011 Hyundai, driven by Evelyn Martin of Dublin.

They said Martin was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital by Lifeguard, where she died from her injuries.
