Roanoke Police have arrested a man in connection with a homicide last week.
Marcus Clark, Jr., 18, of Roanoke, was located in Richmond earlier today and arrested without incident.
On August 16, 2018, officers with the Roanoke Police Department were dispatched after a report of a person with a gunshot wound in the 700 block of 18th Street, NW. Upon arrival, they found Rashard Jessup, 24, of Roanoke inside a house with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he later died.
