Kelly Clarkson has “got a lot of jobs.” The singer and second-time coach on The Voice stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week to dish on Season 15 of The Voice and the next chance for fans to see her on the small screen: her own daytime talk show.
“I didn't think I’d ever do it, but we shot the pilot,” Kelly says of the new chat fest. “I love talking; it’s like my favorite pastime. It's hard for me to shut up, though. You have to listen to people who come on your show, and I just keep talking. That’s the only thing I've got to work on: listening.” The “Love So Soft” singer goes on to promise her talk show will “be a little different.” “We sing every day on the show and do this fan request thing. It’s fun,” she adds. “In the pilot, I got people to sing with me and do little skits. It’s very musical; it would be weird if it wasn’t!”
According to Deadline, The Kelly Clarkson Show will air as the lead-in to Ellen on NBC-owned TV stations beginning Fall 2019.
