Roanoke County Police have identified the man killed in yesterday's vehicle crash on Bent Mountain.
Lawrence Larson, 75, of Bent Mountain, died after a dump truck hit the vehicle he was driving in the 8200 block of Bent Mountain Road. Both vehicles ran off the road and into a ravine.
The driver of the dump truck, who's name has not been released by police, was not injured and is cooperating with police The truck he was driving is owned by Boring Contractors, Inc.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash and at this time, no charges have been filed.
