LU Employee Arrested On Charges Including Attempted Murder

An employee at Liberty University has been suspended from his position due to assault and battery, attempted murder, and abduction charges.

The Lynchburg Police Department said Michael Hiskey was booked into the Blue Ridge Regional Jail on November 4 for charges of assault and battery on a family member, abduction and kidnapping, and attempted murder.

Police said he’s also been charged with two counts of domestic assault.They said it was a domestic violence strangling incident, but thankfully the victim appears to be physically okay.
