The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office needs the public's help in finding a missing teenage girl.
According to officials, 15-year-old Madeline Faith Serria Wells was last seen around 12:30 p.m. yesterday at the Comfort Inn in Grundy. Officials describe her a 5'6" with green eyes and sandy hair.
Deputies believe she was abducted by 21-year-old Michael Charles Newnam. He is described as 6'1" with hazel eyes and black hair.
Officials say he is from North Carolina and met Wells on Facebook.
According to deputies, Newnam picked Wells up from school and then brought her to the Comfort Inn.
They are believed to be in a 2003 black Chevy Silverado with North Carolina tags: FFJ8570.
The Sheriff's Office has issued a warrant for Newnam's arrest.
