Shopping Finds: Amy's 3 Favorite Things Of The Week (1/15)

I have not been paid to recommend any of these products. Here are three things I'm loving this week! Let's get started...

#1: Tribute- The Gift of a Video Montage

I used Tribute to create a video for Jeff's 40th birthday, featuring all his friends and family. (Over 50 people contributed, it was SO fun to watch, Jeff even shed a few tears.) He was born on NYE and we were stuck at home. I wanted to do something extra special...and it was!

All you need to do is enter the email addresses for the people you want to participate, Tribute does the rest. They send the invites, reminders and create the video. Makes a big project like this just as meaningful for the recipient but A LOT less work for the gift giver :)

#2: The Board Game 'Azul'

We got the board game 'Azul' for Christmas and finally busted it out last night. It was really fun!

I'm always hesitant to learn new games because I'm more of an audio/visual learner. Reading directions is not my strong suit. That being said, Jeff read through them, got the general idea and then we bridged the gaps with this how-to video...

Here's the link for the game.

#3: Solo Stove

This was our "big" purchase of the pandemic. We've been at home since last March...FOR-EV-ER.

Jeff and I saw a lot of people over the spring, summer and fall by hosting socially distanced gatherings on our back deck. We knew it'd be a long winter if we didn't get some kind of fire pit so we could keep hanging outside when the temp dropped.

That's when we started doing research on the 'Solo Stove'. I kept seeing it all over online...was my computer listening to me??

It claims to kick out a ton of heat and very little smoke. Guess what? It does. It's also wood burning!

We've already had a ton of backyard bonfires this winter, been able to actually hang out with friends and family AND my hair doesn't wreak of fire. (I know some people love that smell. I like it while I'm at the fire but hate the lingering scent.)

All this being said, it's an investment. These are not cheap and we went for the biggest option. We'll use it for years to come so I don't have any regrets...

That's all for this week. Happy Shopping!
