Country crooner Luke Bryan nailed the most important performance, on the biggest stage, of his career. But, he took drastic steps to prepare.
No success ever comes easy. It always takes some kind of sacrifice. For Bryan, it was slowing down on his partying ways in preparation for singing the National Anthem.
After belting out the tune, last night, he shared “It’s two months of preparation when you find out you’re doing the anthem. I haven’t went out any night so I’ve been a good boy preparing.”
The “Crash My Party” singer said he knew he did a good job when praise from fellow artists started coming into his phone. He also took a moment to reflect on former President George H.W. Bush’s appearance at the big game. “With what they’re dealing with health-wise, I think it was an honor and a privilege for America to see them,” Bryan said. “What a beautiful family, and for them to be here together it was a special moment. I was glad I got to witness it.”
