The “Golden” years are going to be the bronze for most of us.
Many people don't have nearly enough saved for retirement, but some are much worse off than others. A new report from the Employee Benefit Research Institute says nearly half of everyone it surveyed has less than 25-thousand dollars saved for retirement. It also found that nearly 25% of people surveyed have less than one-thousand dollars in retirement savings.
Most people think they will need about 500-thousand dollars in order to retire, but some expect than number to hit one million. If you haven’t started saving, now is the time.Source: Bloomberg
