German 10-Year-Old Flees to Switzerland After Getting a "C"

For one 10-year-old in Germany, getting good grades is important. So important, in fact, he'd rather flee to a different country than face his parents after getting a C on his report card.

Train employees noticed the boy traveling to the Swiss city of Basel all by himself and alerted police. The boy, who managed to buy a valid ticket for himself, had already been reported missing by his parents in his hometown of Schleswig. The high achiever has been reunited with his parents.
