Today Is Amazon Jobs Day! (Hiring for 50,000 New Jobs)

If you’re looking for a job, Amazon is looking for you.

Amazon is looking to fill its fulfillment centers with thousands of new workers. The company is planning to hire for 50-thousand new positions, including tens of thousands of full-time jobs. They will be opened at job fairs across the country next today on what's being called "Amazon Jobs Day."

Several job offers are expected to be made on the spot to those who apply during the fairs. The fairs will be from 8 a.m. to noon local time at ten fulfillment centers. The new jobs are part of Amazon's plan to add more than 100-thousand full-time jobs over the next 18 months.

One of the perks the company offers part-timers is the “Amazon Career Choice” program, which pays up to 15-hundred dollars a year to help you get continuing education. Source: Fox 5 Washington, DC
