Democratic Congress Members Demand Meeting With DHS Head Over The Travel Ban-Members of three House committees have demanded an emergency meeting with Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly to get clarification over President Donald Trump’s immigration restrictions.
John Conyers the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, Bennie Thompson, ranking member of the Homeland Security Committee, Eliot Engle, ranking member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Zoe Lofgren top Dem on the Judiciary Committee’s immigration panel, wrote a letter to Secretary John Kelly with the intention of discussing the implementation and guidance concerning the ban Executive Order.
The lawmakers hope to meet with him by Wednesday and pin the chaos and panic resulting from the order on a lack of clarity and explanation.Source: Fox News
