Olivia Newton-John's cancer has returned.
25 years after being treated for breast cancer, the singer-actress said today (Tuesday) that it has metastasized to the sacrum, a bone in the lower back. She will undergo a combination of natural wellness therapies and a short course of photon radiation therapy.
After experiencing serious back pain, Newton-John postponed all her shows for May. We had a hunch the problem might be more than sciatica when her daughter Chloe Lattanzi asked fans to pray for her mom.
Olivia says she's confident of resuming her career "later in the year, better than ever, to celebrate her shows."
Today's announcement also includes the official postponement of her U.S. and Canadian concert dates for June.
