Update 9:53. Police say driver may have blacked out causing them to lose control of the vehicle.
Police say two people were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a car hit a pedestrian in Roanoke.
Police say the crash happened in the 3900 block of Brandon Avenue SW at the intersection of Peters Creek Road.
They say a car crashed into a pedestrian around 8:15 a.m.
According to police, the pedestrian had serious injuries.
Officials were not able to confirm the driver's injuries at this time.
