LoCash's Chris Lucas and his wife Kaitlyn have welcomed their third child into the world.
On Sunday afternoon, the boys of LoCash and Charles Esten posted a hilarious video on social media to announce they would postpone their Sunday night show in Evansville, Indiana.
Just a few hours later, Chris and Kaitlyn met their second daughter, Violet Reid Lucas, who was born on Sunday night at 9:42 p.m. at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. She weighed eight pounds, one ounce and measured 19 inches in length.
Chris shared the history of Violet's name in a recent interview, saying, "Violet is named after Kaitlyn’s great-grandma, so Violet’s great-great-grandma. And Reid is probably what she will go by — [it’s] a name that me and Kait fell in love with." (People)
Violet has two older siblings -- a 17-month-old sister named Remi McKenna and a seven-year-old brother named Caden.
Scott's Thoughts:
- Violet's big brother, Caden, has already fallen in love with his newest little sister. He says he can't help but cry when he looks at her.
- Chris has a lot to celebrate this week, as he and Preston Brust were just nominated for their first CMA Award on Monday.
- So many country music babies, so little time!
- Surely fans understood why the show was postponed. Would you be upset?
