*LIST* Budget Friendly Destinations For Fall

The fall can be the perfect time for a getaway, since you won’t be dealing with the crowds of kids out of school for the summer or the high prices of holiday travel. Unfortunately, some destinations will still be pricey during the fall months, but if you’re looking for a budget vacation there are still a lot of great places to visit.

TripAdvisor has just come out with their choices for the top fall travel destinations for folks on a budget, looking at the prices of highly rated hotels on a variety of booking sites, comparing the September to November prices to those of the more pricier months like June to August.

Those looking for a great getaway may want to head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where the average hotel price is about $147, which is 40% less than in the summer months. Ocean City, Maryland’s also a good choice, with airfare about 38% less than in summer, and hotels around $182, which is also about 38% less, while Virginia Beach, Virginia’s airfare for fall is about $398, which is 13% cheaper than summer, with hotels about $176, which is 35% cheaper
