Appomattox Oyster and Seafood Festival is April 14th!

Scott Stevens talks to Tom Adams, President of the Appomattox County Historical Society, about the 2nd Annual Oyster and Seafood Festival.  It is April 14, 2018 at Clover Hill Village in Appomattox.  Hear the interview below, and click HERE for tickets and more information!

The Appomattox County Historical Society is hosting our 2nd Annual Appomattox Oyster & Seafood Festival April 14th (rain date April 15th) from 12pm-6pm. We will have Breweries, Distilleries, Wineries, food vendors and various craft vendors on hand for the event, along with 4 live bands and activities for all ages! This event will be a fun time for the entire family! Come on out and enjoy the festival! Ticket information will be featured on our event Facebook page as it becomes available. Ticket prices are $15 in Advance ($25 at the Gate); $10 for Designated Drivers, Non-Drinkers, 13+ yrs; $5 for 6-12 yrs; Under 6 yrs is FREE. See our Facebook page for discounted pricing.

Entertainment will be provided by the Free Flowing Musical Experience band, the Farm Use String Band, Bo-Zac, and Gypsy Road! There will be a free Bounce House for kids, and Corn Hole Contests for adults! Food will be available from our vendors including BBQ, hot dogs and hamburgers, as well as serving lots of great seafood dishes, including Virginia Oysters (James River), Maryland-style crab cakes, shrimp, fish, Po-Boys, and more! Festival favorites, Kettle Corn, Funnel Cakes, Italian Ice and other great snacking treats!

Local radios stations will be set up to perform giveaways!

The Appomattox Oyster & Seafood Festival is held annually on the 2nd Saturday in April at the Appomattox County Historical Society's “Clover Hill Village Living History Center” located at 5747 River Ridge Rd Appomattox, VA 24522. Next door to the “Our Lady of Peace” Catholic Church. This country setting with old buildings and barns, is the perfect scenery for a festival!

Must be 21 & Older With a Valid Driver’s License or State ID As Proof of Age To Drink Alcohol

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We have plenty of FREE parking on the property, there is NO PARKING in the road

What can I bring into the event?

NO PETS ALLOWED, except service dogs required because of a disability. NO COOLERS, CONTAINERS, OUTSIDE FOOD, OR ALCOHOL. Bags and backpacks are subject to search. Blankets and small folding chairs ARE permitted. Pop-up tents must be placed in selected areas.
