Have Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves been married for the past 25 years?
That could be the case according to the actress. While promoting their upcoming rom-com Destination Wedding, Winona tells Entertainment Weekly that she’s not sure they "didn’t have a real wedding back in 1992 while filming Bram Stoker’s Dracula."
She says, “We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.”
Keanu wasn't so sure. “We said yes?” he asked. Winona answered, “Don’t you remember that? It was on Valentine’s Day.” To which Keanu concluded, “Oh my gosh, we’re married.”
Destination Wedding hits theaters August 31st.
Scott's Thoughts:
- This would make a good rom-com in its right!
- This would have been the two stars' first and only wedding. To this day neither has ever married.
- Since neither ever married again, they wouldn't be bigamists!
- I'm no legal expert, but if there's no marriage certificate, there's no marriage.
