Jesse "The Body" Ventura is looking to get back in the ring -- both the wrestling ring and the political ring.
The former wrestler-turned Minnesota governor is setting his sights on next year's Wrestlemania in Minneapolis and also the presidency in 2020. TMZ caught up with him at the airport in Los Angeles and discussed a possible run to unseat President Trump in the next election. The 66-year-old, who remains in great shape, issued a warning to President Trump.
Ventura said he's received interest from the Green Party, and if he does decide to run, he'll slam Trump. He says, "If I do do it, Trump will not have a chance. For one, Trump knows wrestling. He participated in two Wrestlemanias. He knows he can never out-talk a wrestler, and he knows I'm the greatest talker wrestling's ever had. So, if I go for it he's history, and he knows it!"
- So put your body, er, your money where your mouth is.
- Let's hope Trump responds to the challenge. This could be a funny feud.
- His running mate could be former wrestler Kane who was elected mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
