An under-cooked baked potato was at the root of an argument between a Florida man and his girlfriend that turned violent.
Police say 36-year-old Kenneth Crumpton lost his mind around midnight one night when his girlfriend served him a baked potato that he felt wasn't cooked enough. An argument ensued and Crumpton allegedly poked a fork into the woman's head several times, drawing blood.
Crumpton denied stabbing her with the fork, saying he simply threw it and it "glanced off her head." Nevertheless, he was arrested and charged with aggravated battery. The victim refused medical attention. (The Smoking Gun)
