Working for a living … and only a living …According to a new survey, a whopping 44 percent of employees feel like they’re stuck in a dead-end job and don’t feel like they have much opportunity for professional growth in their current situation The survey also found that only one third of workers received praise the last time they went the extra mile, and 74 percent don’t feel highly valued. One more note: 43 percent of workers said they’d be willing to leave their companies for a 10 percent salary boost, which is up from 25 percent who would have bailed on their jobs last year for that raise.
