Meat Me at the Altar
A Florida woman who was arrested for attacking her boyfriend with a pork chop will not be prosecuted because the victim decided to drop the charges. Instead, he plans to marry her.
48-year-old Jennifer Brassard was arrested in February after she hit her boyfriend with a frozen pork chop, causing a bad cut under his eye. She was charged with domestic battery and ordered to stay away from him. But 54-year-old Richard Nicewicz misses his sweet little pork chop-thrower and wants to spend the rest of his life with her -- dodging flying cuts of meat.
Nicewicz wrote a letter to the court saying, “We are planning our wedding and she has a dog at our house she probably misses.” No wedding date has been announced yet. More on this story: (The Smoking Gun)
Scott's Thoughts:
- Nobody wastes a perfectly good pork chop unless they're really angry.
- He might want to encourage his fiancee to become a vegetarian.
- The good thing about getting hit in the eye with a frozen pork chop is that you can then use that frozen pork chop to keep the swelling down.
