SCIENTISTS DISCOVER ANCIENT BEER FACTORY IN EGYPT
Scientists in Egypt have discovered a beer factory -- that’s about 5,000 years old.
The brewery, found by archaeologists in the ancient city of Abydos in Egypt, was supposedly cranking out beer during the reign of King Narmer.
It must have been good stuff, as Dr. Matthew Adams of New York University -- one of the leaders of this beer-finding mission -- believes the beer was used in royal burial rituals for Egypt's earliest kings. More here: (NBC News)
