WEIRD NEWS: Murder Report Was a Crock
A Pennsylvania woman is under arrest after a bizarre episode inside a Dollar General store.
Cops were called to the store after receiving a call about a strange woman inside wearing a hard hat, holding a crockpot lid as a shield, and carrying a bathroom scale. Officers say 25-year-old Tiffany Kerfoot was clearly under the influence of drugs and she told them that people were chasing her and trying to hurt her. She also said she had witnessed a murder at her home, but when officers went to the house shares with her boyfriend, they found no signs of a murder. The only thing they did find was drug paraphernalia.
Kerfoot was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and also taken to a hospital for observation. Her boyfriend was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. More here: (WTAJ-TV)

- So in telling police that there was a murder at her home, she effectively got her boyfriend arrested.
- The hard hat and the crockpot lid were clearly used for protection, but what did she intend to do with the bathroom scale?
- An Instant Pot lid would make a better shield, if you ask me.
