Where's the Beef Oil?
A Wendy's drive-thru employee is behind bars after serving a customer square burgers with a side of scalding hot oil.
21-year-old Demarrus Pritchett, a manager at a Wendy's in Huntingdon, Tennessee, got into a verbal argument with a customer who complained his food order was cold. So Pritchett offered to heat it up for him by dousing him with hot oil taken from the deep fryer. The victim suffered severe burns on his left side and arm and was treated at the hospital.
During police questioning, Pritchett claimed the victim had been harassing him for several weeks about dogs, however the police report doesn't specify what the purported dog complaint was. Pritchett was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. More here: (The Smoking Gun)
- Oh sure, blame the dog.
- And this was a manager? Not anymore.
- So if the customer claimed the food was too hot, would he have poured a Frosty on him? Actually that sounds kind appealing to me. LOL
