Surf Boar
Surfers know there's always a possibility of encountering a shark while riding the waves, but a Hawaiian woman never expected a wild run-in with a pig.
Ingrid Seiple has been surfing for 35 years and never expected to encounter a wild boar in the water, but that's just what happened recently while surfing off the coast of Oahu. She says she saw an animal and assumed it was a seal, but when it lifted its face above the water, she saw the snout and realized it was a boar going out for a swim. But this boar was not friendly. It started swimming after her and ultimately bit a chunk out of her surfboard. She was able to safely swim to shore. She believed the wild pig may have been chased into the water by dogs and got caught in a rip current. More here: (KITV-TV)
